Position Highlights
The Content Architect strengthens Arizona Online’s non‑credit team by managing front‑end implementation and outreach to ensure programs are launch‑ready, high‑quality, and visible to prospective learners. The role oversees course setup, quality assurance, faculty support, and recruitment communications while also contributing to marketing, social media, and program web content to drive awareness and lead generation.
Duties and Responsibilities
Credit Course Set Up
Guide faculty and staff through the full course setup process—from ideation to delivery—ensuring alignment with learning outcomes, accessibility standards, and a high‑quality learner experience.
Configure and quality‑check offerings end‑to‑end (D2L Community shells, Configio sections, catalog entries, enrollment windows, visibility settings).
Set up badges, certificates, pricing, discount codes, and refund / cancellation rules.
Coordinate key details with Enrollment and Marketing teams.
Provide support for Qualtrics forms and surveys.
Custom Content Support
Collaborate with faculty, staff, and external partners to design learning solutions that meet workforce development needs.
Serve as first‑line support for faculty / instructors on front‑end course issues (shell access, rosters, due dates, links / files, accessibility checks, announcements).
Develop and implement targeted communication strategies for non‑credit recruitment campaigns.
Identify audiences, select appropriate communication channels, and coordinate timelines, messaging, and materials with internal teams to drive engagement and conversions.
Agile Program Development
Support the ideation of new non‑credit programs; guide content creators on forms, templates, and alignment with University of Arizona standards.
Validate basic market alignment (audience, outcomes, modality) and coordinate early‑stage reviews with Marketing, Enrollment, and Finance.
Track proposal status and communicate milestones to stakeholders.
Non‑Credit Course Adaptation
Adapt for‑credit academic content into learner‑centered, engaging non‑credit offerings for multiple platforms.
Ensure non‑credit programs meet the needs of professional learners, maintaining clarity, accessibility, and platform alignment.
Communications, Marketing & Outreach
Collaborate with Arizona Online staff to monitor and update non‑credit program and departmental information on recruitment websites.
Design, write, and publish new web pages and program pages, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and brand alignment.
Create and post content aligned with established channel strategies to highlight programs, events, and initiatives.
Maintain consistent tone, style, and posting schedules to support overall communication objectives.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional‑level experience.
Minimum of 3 years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
