Director Of Supply Chain Business Office

This is a hybrid (virtual / onsite) position with required onsite days on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday assigned to One Energy Plaza located in Jackson, MI. The selected candidate must be within a commutable distance or willing to relocate (relocation package is available for those that qualify).
General Summary Of Responsibilities
The Director of the Supply Chain Business Office is responsible for driving operational excellence, standardization, and strategic enhancements across the supply chain organization to improve quality, delivery, cost, and resiliency outcomes. This role oversees governance, controls, process design, standards, learning and capability development, and supply chain risk management. The Director works closely with supply chain leadership, operations, compliance, and other corporate cross-functional partners to ensure the supply chain organization operates efficiently, complies with regulations, mitigates risk, and continues to develop the capabilities needed for a future-ready workforce in the utilities and energy sector.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Demonstrated expertise in governance, compliance, and process improvement. Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in measuring supply chain performance. Proven track record in cost reduction, productivity improvement, and service enhancement initiatives. Extensive knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes and ERP systems. Excellent leadership, communication, and change management skills.
Education And Experience
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business administration, engineering or related field with a minimum of ten years of experience within utilities, energy or other highly regulated industries. (OR) Associate's degree in supply chain, business administration, engineering or related field with a minimum of ten years of experience within utilities, energy or other highly regulated industries. (OR) High school diploma with a minimum of fourteen (14) years of experience within utilities, energy or other highly regulated industries.
