We are searching for the best talent for a Manager, Capacity Management to be in High Wycombe, UK.
The primary responsibility is to provide strategic resourcing insights and influence senior leadership decisions across multiple Divisions within JJIM. Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner for one or more functional areas, building strong relationships and encouraging collaboration across boundaries. Proactively identify risks and opportunities, not only through data analysis but by influencing partners to adopt forward-looking resource planning practices. Ensure integrity of resource forecasting models while connecting insights to broader business objectives and influencing resource allocation decisions. This role goes beyond analytics to shape long-term capacity strategies aligned with organizational priorities.
You will be responsible for :
- Provide resource insights and analytics to assigned Functions on a monthly and ad hoc basis that drive functional strategic decision making.
- Responsible for owning resource forecasting processes, including translating business processes into forecasting models, Supply v. Demand, overtime, attrition rates, J&J / Flex ratios, throughput analytics, resource trends, and many others.
- Employ excellent listening skills to take complex information from the Functions to develop robust forecasting models through requirements gathering, validation, deployment, monitoring and controlling (i.e., ensure model health).
- Enable financial planning cycles (BP, JU, NU, and CF) through a close partnership with Finance and Functional Business Operations Heads / Leads.
- Drive collaboration and alignment with key business partners such as Resource Decision Support, PDPMs, PPLs, Finance, Planning & Portfolio Solutions, IT and more.
- Apply excellent communication skills to translate sophisticated resource-related technical information and data into clear recommendations for decision making.
- Critical thinking and a strong ability to network successfully across boundaries and organizations will also be needed in this role.
- In addition to Functional responsibilities, the candidate will work independently to shape and lead capabilities within their team including but not limited to Machine Learning, cross-functional model accuracy metrics, and manual demand monitoring & control.
Qualifications / Requirements :
Minimum of bachelor's degree is requiredAdvanced degree is preferredMinimum 6 years of industry experienceProven track record to influence without authority, build strategic partnerships, and drive alignment across diverse stakeholdersExperienced analytical and data-visualization skills (e.g., experience analyzing data trends, historical trends, data mining, simulation, optimization, predictive modelling, machine learning, etc.).Ability to translate complex data into strategic insights and communicate recommendations that shape organizational decisions.Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and influencing skillsStrong written and verbal communication skills10-15% travel as the need arises to support project teams at multiple site locations (Domestic / International)Preferred :
Experience in planning / forecasting roles is strongly preferredGeneral end to end drug development knowledgeKnowledge of PlaniswareDevelopment, delivery, and stewardship of parametric algorithms, ML models, or similar techniques for resource forecastingExperience with reporting and statistical capabilities including (but not limited to) Tableau, Power BI, Spotfire, Minitab, etc.
