CAD Designer

Talascend is currently seeking a CAD Designer position located in Phoenix, Arizona .

OVERVIEW

The role involves designing new products and making improvements to existing products using computer aided design (CAD). The position requires applying expertise and knowledge to technical projects, finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve products, techniques, procedures, and technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop new ideas and solutions for new product development as well as current products modification and improvements based on in-service issues and market strategy.
• Be responsible for design and implementation of mechanical parts, subassemblies and product improvements.
• Design components that form parts of complex systems.
• Utilize engineering capabilities to support projects in a variety of markets.
