Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Advanced DevOps Engineer to support our client in Boulder, CO. The Advanced DevOps Engineer will design, automate, and maintain cloud and container orchestration platforms, supporting internal and external platform consumers with architecture guidance, cloud deployments, and secure infrastructure services. The engineer will collaborate across teams to drive updates, enhancements, and best practices for enterprise‑scale cloud environments.
Responsibilities of the Advanced DevOps Engineer include :
- Automate deployment and maintenance of container orchestration platforms
- Configure and deploy infrastructure services including IAM, networking, security, logging, and monitoring
- Plan and implement major updates, enhancements, and cloud platform improvements
- Support cloud platform implementation through architecture guidance, best practices, migration, troubleshooting, and monitoring
- Develop and maintain CI / CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, Puppet, or Chef
- Create or leverage Ansible Playbooks, Terraform configurations, or related automation tooling
- Support production‑grade cloud applications using automation in virtualized environments
