Love reading? Want a summer job that actually makes a difference? Join the Allen County Public Library as a Team Read Teen Reader this June and July!

This daytime, Monday–Friday summer job lets you work with elementary-age kids, helping them build reading skills through books and fun activities. You'll be part of a supportive team, meet new people, and give back to your community-all while earning $10.25 per hour .

What you'll do

Read with kids and help them grow their literacy skills

Play and lead fun activities

Be a positive role model and cheer on young readers

Work with library staff in a welcoming, inclusive environment

This job is a great fit if you :

Are 16–19 years old

Can read confidently in English

Enjoy working with kids

Are friendly, patient, and enthusiastic

Want a meaningful summer job (no weekends!)
