Job Title : Production Assembler

Job Description

Join our team in the assembly department where you will be responsible for putting together small electronic parts for a variety of units. You will work from work orders and use both hand and power tools to complete your tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

Assemble small electronic parts in a manufacturing setting.

Read and interpret work orders accurately.

Utilize hand and power tools for assembly tasks.

Ensure quality control through inspection and packaging.

Operate machinery and manage production processes.

Essential Skills

General production and assembly skills.

Reading comprehension and computer skills.

Experience with hand tools.

Prior manufacturing experience is mandatory.

Ability to pass Benchmark Testing with at least 70% and 100% in Reading Comprehension.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in machine operation, packaging, and inspection.

Proficiency in general labor tasks.

Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently.

Work Environment

The work environment is climate-controlled, very clean, and well-organized. Employees are required to wear company-supplied smocks and ESD equipment. The position offers flexible shift options with the possibility to work during the first, second, or weekend shifts, ensuring a work-life balance. Shift hours vary with the first shift from 6am-4pm (Monday to Thursday), the second shift from 3 : 45pm-1 : 30am (Monday to Thursday), and the weekend shift from 6am-6pm (Friday to Sunday), where you work 36 hours and get paid for 36 hours.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00 / hr.
