Process Automation Engineer – Optimus Steel LLC, Vidor, TX. Design, implement, and support automation systems in a steel manufacturing environment. Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems. Commission industrial drives (e.g., ABB, PowerFlex). Provide 24 / 7 on-call support for plant automation systems including CHS, Zumbach, and mill cameras. Must have Bachelor's in Electrical, Electronics, or Automation Engineering (or related field) + 3 yrs exp in automation programming and drive commissioning in a manufacturing setting. Experience must include Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs, IBA or WINCC FLEX SCADA platforms, and Cognex or similar camera systems. Must be willing to relocate to within 20 miles of job site. Remote or long-distance commuting is not permitted.
