Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate School Psychologist to support our county-wide ASD center program. The role involves conducting initial evaluations, re-evaluations, behavioral and crisis interventions, and collaborating closely with the child study team to support students’ educational and emotional needs.
Responsibilities:
Conduct initial, re-evaluation, and special education assessments, including Autism EI, LD, and CI evaluations.
Provide behavioral and crisis intervention support for students as part of the child study team.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to develop and implement strategies that promote student success.
Document evaluations, interventions, and progress in compliance with district and state requirements.
Participate in meetings with families and staff to review assessments and recommendations.
Qualifications:
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
Experience working with students with ASD, learning disabilities, or other special education needs.
Strong assessment, intervention, and crisis management skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Compensation:
$80 per hour
Additional Information:
Part-time, in-person at one elementary school location.
Immediate start preferred.
