The Master Scheduler is responsible for creating and managing all production and shipment schedules. This role assembles the master schedule based on the business, shipment, inventory, and production plans. It serves as a primary point of contact for and liaison with the Engineering, Sales, Production, and Shipping departments.

Scope of Responsibilities :

• Create and maintain a detailed master production schedule to support 99% on-time delivery and create an exemplary customer experience.
• Collaborating with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, and Production creating longer-term capacity plans supporting the longer-term Sales and Operations Planning process.
• Resolve Supply and Demand and Capacity issues while optimizing labor and equipment utilization.
• Establish, develop, and maintain visual shop floor scheduling processes.
• Maintain daily status of in-process orders on the production floor and flag risk of schedule delays to management and the support teams.
• Evaluate current procedures and recommend changes to improve the efficiency of planning and scheduling processes.
• Ensure all work orders and projects are closed in the scheduling system.
• Assess and implement ERP techniques needed to plan, schedule, control, measure, and evaluate the effectiveness of production operations.
• Ensures engineering changes made for WIP or finished products are properly communicated throughout the supply chain and production floor as needed.
• Identify manufacturing variances weekly and report to the Plant Manager and Finance Team.
• Ensures ERP system and part data elements are correctly set to the proper planning parameters.
• Track and maintain inventory levels and report weekly the quality of inventory as related to stock levels needed to support 99% on-time delivery.
• Manage level loading and bottleneck scheduling.
• Ensure day-to-day activities comply with the company quality system to maintain high quality, reliability, and safety standards.
• Monitor schedule attainment communicating and addressing any supply or demand-related issues effectively and timely.
• Maintain expected shipment dates for current and future orders.
• Promote and demonstrate behavior consistent with the company's core values and policies.
• Other duties as required.
