We are currently seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Dental Assistant (DA) to join our expanding team! As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our office and assisting the professional dental staff in delivering care. Responsibilities :
Provide high-quality and compassionate care to all patients.Guide families and patients through our treatment processes with care.Educate patients on oral hygiene and offer postoperative care instructions.Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.Take x-rays and efficiently save them to patient charts (as applicable).Ensure operational readiness of hygiene bays and treatment rooms.Prepare tray setups for various dental procedures.Mix materials such as amalgam, cement, and prepare impression materials.Sterilize and disinfect dental tools, equipment, and treatment areas.Assist professional dental staff during treatments by :Documenting patient information and treatment plans.Providing suctioning and holding retractors during procedures.Pouring, trimming, and polishing impression casts.Fabricating custom impression trays.Adhere to all regulations and company compliance standards with integrity.Perform additional duties as assigned.Qualifications :
A high school diploma or GED is required.X-ray certification is preferred based on state regulations.Certification as a dental assistant is a plus based on state requirements.Being bilingual in Spanish is advantageous (location dependent).Commitment to performing with the highest integrity and adherence to regulations.Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.What We Offer :
