Pediatric Interventional Cardiology

StartDate : 4 / 1 / 2026 Pay Rate : $4 $475000.00

Join the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Cardiology. As we grow our signature pediatric heart program, we are seeking an experienced interventional cardiologist at the Associate or Full Professor level to join our program.

The successful applicant must have a MD or MD and PhD degrees, or their equivalent. Candidates should have clinical training in Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology (completed fellowship and be board eligible or board certified). Preference will be given to candidates who have expertise in interventional cardiology (pediatric and adult congenital).

Position Highlights :

• Superb working environment including 8 physicians and 2 NPs
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and experts, including a world renowned pediatric cardiac surgeon, genetics, behavioral pediatrics and pediatric neurology and board certified adult congenital cardiologist

• Strong inpatient and outpatient cardiology practice to include seven practice sites across the State of Maryland

The referenced salary range represents the minimum and maximum salaries for this position and is based on the University of Maryland School of Medicine's good faith belief at the time of posting. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered to the selected candidate may vary and will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, work experience, internal equity, market conditions, education / training and other factors, as reasonably determined by the University.

Salary range : $400,000 - $475,000

MD or equivalent

Clinical training in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology
