The Campus Assistant for the Gathering Kids After-School Program is vital in ensuring its smooth operation and success. Their primary responsibilities include supporting the program's activities, maintaining student safety, and assisting staff and students as needed.

Check-In :
- Facilitate attendance daily, ensuring that all students are accounted for.
- Ensure students participating in other campus activities follow check-in guidelines.
Check Out :
Work closely with each GK coach to communicate when to dismiss students.Manage student pick-up station, ensuring no student approaches or opens the door.Greet student parents with a smile and follow the organization’s communication standards.Ensure that all students are checked out after leaving the campus.Send an “all clear” when the campus is clear of students daily.Activity Assistant :
Material Preparation :
Assist GK coaches with preparing activity materials when possible.Review the plans for the week, ensuring that all materials are on the campus.Work closely with the program manager to communicate supply needs.Cleaning :
Spot sweep gym during homework period.Clean water spills throughout the day as needed using a dry mop.Assist GK coaches with cleaning areas used at the end of the day when possible.Take a picture of all the cleaned areas used with a GK iPad.Organization :
Keep materials on the campus neat and organized in the storage closet.Ensure students' leftover belongings are placed in the school’s lost and found.Ensure all GK activity projects are provided to students to take home.Behavior Management :
Support :
Maintain the organization’s behavior policy using respectful and productive solutions for behavior correction.Professional Development :
Stay informed about best practices in child supervision and educational enrichment by reviewing the director’s notes daily.General Assistance : Staff Needs :
Provide general assistance to program staff as needed, including covering for absent colleagues and helping with various tasks to ensure the program runs smoothly.Serve as a positive role model for students, demonstrating respect, responsibility, and enthusiasm for learning.What We Offer :
Weekly Pay – Every FridayTeam Environment built on collaboration and respectPay : $12–$14 / hour (based on experience)Schedule : Monday–Friday, 2 : 45 PM – 6 : 30 PM (follows the school district calendar; closed on school holidays)
