About The Position

Position / Specialty : OR Tech Shift : 5x8's Types of Cases REQ : We are specialized surgery center that focuses on orthopedics for the upper extremity. The patients receive a regional block and monitored anesthesia care or a general anesthetic. Also, we do quite a few local minor procedures. On a typical basis, we perform 16-20 cases day and have one to three surgeons working at a time. Types of Cases Preferred : Case Cart, Scrub, Circulate, Equipment Documentation, Airway Management, and Blocks. Years of experience REQ : 1 year. First timers accepted : yes. National Certs REQ : NBSTSA, ACLS, BLS REQ : Yes Is on-call REQ? Yes Will the clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes. Locals accepted : Yes. Pending State License accepted : No. IN-STATE LICENSE / REQUIRED CERTS MUST BE IN HAND TO SUB RTO Restrictions : Must work 2 / 3 major holidays Guaranteed Hours : 8 and 10 hr. shifts - 40 hrs. in one workweek. 3, 12 hr shifts - 36 hrs. in one workweek. 4, 12 hr. shifts - 48 hrs. in one workweek. Unit Information : Floating to other surgery centers is possible depending on the census. Day off will be determined by weekly schedule and / or requests. People skills and teamwork is a must.
