Duration : Temp-to-Hire

Pay rate : $34.62 / hour

Summary / Objective :

The Associate I, IHC R&D functions with minimal supervision and guidance within the Reagent Research and Development Laboratory. The Associate I conducts product development activities on new recombinant antibody products for Immunohistochemistry (IHC) procedures within well-defined guidelines. The Associate I keeps abreast of current methodologies and developments within defined areas of research.

Perform IHC testing in the development of new recombinant antibody products

Assist in the closure of customer complaints and product investigation related to recombinant antibody products developed

Perform all activities in accordance with established SOP’s and directions from manager in a GMP and ISO regulated laboratory

Document all activities according to established procedures

Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot assays and identify areas for improvement

Monitor equipment and instrumentation for compliance to corporate procedures

Other duties as assigned by Management

Qualifications :

Experience in a laboratory environment, with an emphasis on high productivity and multi-tasking to progress on multiple projects simultaneously

Hands-on experience in Histology, IHC and automated instrumentation

Ability to work independently and manage tasks, while supporting fellow team members

Proofreading skills with good attention to details

Thorough understanding of product development in an ISO environment

Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology or a related field; or Associate Degree or High School Diploma, with training in Histology & IHC. Zero to five (0-5) years’ Laboratory experience in the related field, or equivalent combination of

education and experience

Pay Details : $34.62 per hour
