Description

Location : Suffolk County Nashua Street Jail in Boston, MA

Schedule : Full-Time, Monday-Friday 8am-4pm

Pay rate : $28.85 / hour ($60,000 annually)

The Counselor is responsible for :

  • Providing evidence based psycho-education according to approved curriculum to offenders and completing required documentation.

    • Qualifications

    Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in human services, criminal justice education or closely related field required
  • CADC, LADC II or other comparable certification / license or equivalent experience with substance use treatment groups / services preferred.
  • Experience working with justice involved individuals and / or in a correctional setting preferred.
  • Staff must be able to pass extensive background check and pass drug screening
