Kindergarten Reading Tutor

We are seeking a patient and encouraging tutor to assist our spirited kindergartner, Jules, in building confidence in reading. Jules is a fun, creative, and energetic 6-year-old who is experiencing some challenges in grasping the basics of reading, potentially due to early signs of dyslexia or another learning challenge. You will be working in our home in Highland Park, Los Angeles, in a comfortable environment designed for one-on-one tutoring.

The ideal candidate is someone with tutoring experience who is friendly, patient, and excited to help a young learner discover the joy of reading. No driving, feeding, bathing, or bedtime duties are required.

This opportunity is perfect for a student or anyone passionate about making a positive impact in a child's learning journey. The job involves in-person sessions initially, with the possibility of transitioning to Zoom later. Sessions are planned for a couple of hours per week starting September 18, 2025, through December 15, 2025, with a pay rate of $20 / hour.
