[job_card.job_description]Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both business areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any security-related concerns, hazards, or unusual activity observed during patrols. Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and / or vendors, offering assistance as needed while upholding site protocols. Document incidents and daily activities according to Allied Universal and client site requirements. Collaborate with site management and law enforcement as necessary to address incidents or security-related concerns. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

As a Security Guard - Tech Patrol Full-Time in Ankeny, IA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication while supporting a secure atmosphere.
