Corporate Accountant

Overview

Buzzi Unicem USA, a major US cement manufacturer, is looking for a Corporate Accountant to join our Finance team at our Headquarters, located in Bethlehem, PA. The Corporate Accountant will be responsible for performing a variety of auditing, accounting assignments, and analysis to assure compliance with our established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform activities associated with monthly and annual close, and financial statements including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain account analysis for various general ledger accounts as assigned.
• Support the preparation of the annual budget and forecasts.
• Assist with gathering information for annual financial statement audit and mid-year review.
• Special projects/assignments as needed.

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting
• 4+ years of work experience (preferably in a manufacturing environment)
• Ability to work independently or within a team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to conveying accurate and appropriate information
• Ability to multi-task
• Moderate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office package
• Experience with an ERP system a plus
