Procurement Data Analyst - Tempe, AZ!

Vaco Phoenix is working with a client in the Phoenix area who is looking to add a Procurement Data Analyst to their growing team. This person is responsible for building Excel spreadsheets from scratch for the procurement team, reviewing existing spreadsheets and data to identify and correct errors, and establishing processes to prevent future mistakes. This is a Direct Hire position paying up to $80k / yr. The role will be onsite for training and then move to a hybrid schedule. The client is interviewing this week and starting as soon as next week!

Responsibilities / Essential Functions :

• Manage company-wide spend analysis and supplier segmentation

Analyze spend and usage data to identify cost-saving opportunities

Partner with business and finance leaders to drive savings and total cost of ownership improvements

Lead sourcing activities, supplier engagement, and market analysis

Develop bid packages and support contract negotiations

Perform total cost of ownership analysis and recommend supplier selections

Standardize procurement processes and manage supplier scorecards

Track procurement metrics and manage supplier contracts and key dates The qualifications you must have :

2+ years in Procurement position

Bachelors degree in business field
