Job Summary :

Coordinate recruitment training supervision and recognition of volunteers for LSS Refugee Services including both metro and out-state programs. Create and lead a new family reunification program that will double the number of refugees LSS resettles in the next five years.

Qualifications and Requirements :

• Bachelors degree in social service field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2 years related experience
• Good public speaking skills and / or experience making presentations
• Experience in developing and implementing trainings preferred
• In-depth understanding of policies that affect refugees and resettlement organizations
• In-depth knowledge of the family reunification process
• Writing communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to develop reports & correspondence of professional quality
• Decisions made will require good judgment discretion and initiative
• Be culturally sensitive and able to interact with a variety of people
• Drivers license and access to a vehicle
