As a Security Officer - Unarmed Manufacturing Patrol in Durham, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Learn more : aus.com / earnmore. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a manufacturing and industrial location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and support a secure environment, all while upholding our values of reliability, integrity, and teamwork. Pay Rate : $18.62 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns within the facility.
  • Communicate clearly with team members, site staff, and / or visitors as necessary while on patrol.
  • Follow all Allied Universal protocols and site-specific instructions while performing patrol duties.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
