As a Security Officer - Custody Officer Patrol in Whittier, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Professional supporting a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and provide a visible presence. You will engage with the public, deliver outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with team members. This role involves driving responsibilities, offering a dynamic environment for those who value teamwork, integrity, and making a positive impact in their community.

Pay Rate : $23.00 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Have a minimum of 3 years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Possess a college degree.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
