Insurance Follow-Up Specialist

A company is looking for an Insurance Follow Up Representative.

Key Responsibilities

Contact insurance companies to secure and expedite payments through follow-up and appeals resolution processes

Ensure accounts are properly billed and reimbursed to contribute to the organization's financial viability

Act as a functional leader or reference source in communication between patients, insurance companies, and departmental staff

Required Qualifications

Two years post high school education or an AA degree preferred

Related healthcare or insurance industry experience

Knowledge of Federal and State billing requirements preferred

Minimum two (2) years patient accounting experience preferred

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration may substitute for experience
