Job Description

As a Courier, you will perform pickups and deliveries within the city and surrounding areas. Your role will involve collecting incoming products and materials and delivering outgoing items at designated times. You will be responsible for transporting products and materials to specified locations, assisting with loading and unloading trucks, verifying quantities of received goods, and forwarding related paperwork to the appropriate department.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

• 4-5 years experience as a courier.
• 2-3 years experience operating a box truck
• 4-5 years experience working in customer service.
• Experience using computers and sending emails.
• Proficiency in logistics and order management.
• CDL is a plus
• Proficiency in invoice processing and transportation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required at the time of hire and must be maintained.
• Familiarity with the Charleston area is essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with hospital personnel.
• Previous experience as a courier or in delivery roles is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrated ability to handle recordkeeping tasks, shipping/receiving, physical inventories, and quality control checks.
• Proficient with computers, including intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and email systems such as Outlook.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charleston, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
