AlphaBEST Education - After School Program, Norman, OK

Group Leader Master Teacher / CDA Certified (PART-TIME)

AlphaBEST : After school is where adventures begin!

Location : Elementary & Middle schools within Norman Public Schools

Schedule : T he Group Leader is expected to report at their site 2 : 30pm-6 : 00pm on Monday - Friday. (No weekends!) Various hours may be needed at times for work load.

Pay & Benefits :

  • starting at $17.50 per hour (Current CDA Certification / Master Teacher rate)
  • Part-time benefits including health and paid time off available.

Here is what you will need : Be a Master Teacher / Current CDA certification

You can meet the requirements in one of the following ways :

  • CDA
  • CCP Credential
  • 12 credit hours in ECE / CD / SA through CECPD
  • Oklahoma certificate of Mastery
  • 1050 hours of training and take the Master Teachers test (Must show proof of certificate)

    • As an AlphaBEST Group Leader, you'll be trained and have the chance to do the following :

  • Ensure the successful implementation of engaging programs that advance the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of children.
  • Complete adventurous tasks that ignite a child's sense of wonder.
  • Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by establishing / operating clubs that build on the student's interests and talents.
  • Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, parent, and school relationships are fostered at your program site.
