Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) Staff Actions Control Officer (SACO) Manager

Axient in Huntsville, Alabama is seeking a Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) Staff Actions Control Officer (SACO) Manager. This individual would need to be highly organized and detail-oriented to manage the assignment, tracking, and configuration control of all Staff Actions Control Officer (SACO) tasks for the Army's C-UAS Product Office. This role involves managing dozens of daily tasks, ensuring timely and accurate processing of actions originating from high-level entities such as Congress, the Secretary of Defense (SECDEF), Combatant Commanders (COCOM), and other relevant agencies.

Responsibilities :

• Manage the full lifecycle of SACO actions from receipt to completion, ensuring all deadlines are met and actions are properly documented.
• Maintain a comprehensive tracking system for all incoming and outgoing tasks, providing regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Analyze incoming tasks, identify relevant stakeholders, and assign actions to appropriate team members based on expertise and workload.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for SACO task management within the C-UAS Product Office.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all SACO-related inquiries, providing guidance and support to team members.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across various levels of the organization.
• Generate reports and briefings for leadership on the status of ongoing tasks, potential roadblocks, and recommended solutions.
