About The Company
Our client is an AI tools company focused on automating the freight brokerage industry with AI voice agents. The company is in its pre-seed stage, founded in 2025, and backed by Y Combinator, Naval Ravikant, Rajul Garg, and top Silicon Valley investors. It aims to replace manual processes in freight brokerage with AI-driven solutions.
About The Role
Develop AI voice agents for freight brokerage, focusing on real-time, production-grade voice AI, model design, and low-latency inference. Work in SF Bay Area, full-time, with competitive salary.
Moving a single truckload of avocados from California to Chicago can take 50+ phone calls - carrier pitches, compliance checks, rate haggling, driver tracking. All still done manually. Our client replaces that with AI voice agents that sound human and manage the entire workflow - from first call to final delivery. $1 Million+ shipments booked, negotiated, and tracked - no humans involved. This isn't a chatbot. It's a freight broker that runs on GPUs. Real infrastructure for an industry still running on phones.
What You'll Build
- Work on real-time, production-grade voice AI - no wrappers, no demos, no borrowed infra.
- Build agents that can negotiate, verify, and close - live on calls.
- Fine-tune LLMs, ASR, and TTS for high-pressure, noisy environments.
- Own everything from model design to low-latency inference infra.
- Turn chaotic phone calls into fully automated workflows.
