Quality Assurance Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Improvement Lead to join our team. This role involves ensuring that our department adheres to quality improvement standards and procedures, thereby maintaining the highest level of operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage monthly activities related to quality improvement as outlined in the department calendar.
- Ensure that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are strictly followed.
- Monitor and maintain accurate temperature logs.
- Conduct scheduled performance testing samples in the spring and fall, distributing these samples to various departments and the oversight body for state reporting.
- Assist with onboarding and basic training for new employees, focusing on quality assurance and environmental services.
Essential Skills
Degreed in Life-Sciences1.5+ years experience in an environmental lab with exposure to quality assurance standards.Proficiency in quality control and chemistryExperience with batch records and EPA standardsAdditional Skills & Qualifications
Familiarity with NELAC Institute (TNI) standardsKnowledge of ISO standardsJob Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, KS.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00 / hr.
