Program Coordinator

This role supports the Foundational Community Supports program, a statewide program offering eligible Medicaid enrollees supportive housing and supportive employment services and is responsible for the accurate, timely maintenance of

data, authorizations, and database.

Location : Seattle, Washington

Hybrid 1 : This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace.

The Program Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with the planning and implementation of external client-facing programs that best meet the business needs.

How you will make an impact :

  • Builds and maintains the business program plans and schedules, contributes to ensuring business deliverables are met, assist in documentation and project status tracing.
  • Monitor activities to ensure the external client-facing program objectives are met within established time frames and budgets.
  • Additional responsibilities include; scheduling, conducting and attending meetings, supporting management in overall objectives, assessing costs and savings and assist in the payments of vendor invoices.
  • Compiles complex data and able to assist in preparing and delivering presentations as required.

Minimum Qualifications :

Requires a HS diploma or equivalent and minimum of 3 years' experience in health care, or 2 years of related program experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences :

  • Experience in Utilization Management preferred.
  • Experience in authorization for services including sending authorization and denial letters preferred.
  • Provider Change Request (PCR) experience preferred.
  • Exception to Rule request experience preferred.
  • Experience managing inbox and working phone queue preferred.
  • Experience in external referral intake and assignment preferred.
  • Reconnection research experience preferred.
  • Experience with outcome and capacity reports preferred.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Experienced in interfacing with providers preferred.
  • For candidates working in person or virtually in the below locations, the salary

  • range for this specific position is $28.97 to $43.46.
  • Location : Washington State.
