This role supports a global financial services organization operating within capital markets and banking, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance, data integrity, and secure client onboarding. The team is embedded within technology initiatives that modernize how client data is stored, validated, and accessed across the Americas division. You’ll work alongside engineers, product partners, and compliance stakeholders in a fast-moving, regulated environment where accuracy, performance, and reliability are critical.

How You Will Make an Impact
- Design and maintain scalable database schemas to support client onboarding applications
- Develop and optimize stored procedures, queries, and data access patterns
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and performance across transactional systems
- Perform database performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Partner with application developers and business stakeholders to translate onboarding and KYC requirements into data models
- Support secure handling of sensitive client and regulatory data
Are you an experienced Database Engineer ready to make an impact?
- 5–7 years of experience in database engineering or database-focused development roles
- Strong proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with Python for data interaction and automation
- Experience working with both relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases
- Proven background in schema design, stored procedures, and performance optimization
- Understanding of client onboarding workflows and KYC concepts within financial services or regulated industries
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, especially when working with sensitive data
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a hybrid, cross-functional team environment
