Experienced Fabrication Operator – Day Shift

Pay : $19–$21 per hour, DOE

Schedule : Day Shift

We are seeking an Experienced Fabrication Operator to support the production of sheet metal components in a clean, climate-controlled shop environment. This is a hands-on role focused on secondary fabrication processes and preparing laser-cut parts for the next stage of production.

What You’ll Do

Operate industrial saws and drills

Mill, tap, sand, cut, deburr, and grind parts coming off the laser table

Use hand and power tools to finish parts to specification

Read blueprints and follow work instructions

Measure and inspect parts for accuracy

Move completed parts to the next operation in the production process

What We’re Looking For

Experience using an industrial saw

Previous experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment preferred

Comfortable using hand grinders, belt sanders, and measuring tape

Proficient with measuring tools such as calipers, height gauges, squares, and angle finders

Ability to read blueprints and work instructions

Familiarity with shop equipment and industrial machinery

Basic shop math skills

Strong attention to detail and a safety-minded approach

Safety-Sensitive Position

This role is classified as safety-sensitive due to regular operation of machinery, equipment, and power tools. Duties may include :

Operating industrial equipment and machinery

Handling materials and components used in manufacturing processes

Monitoring equipment and processes where malfunction could result in injury or property damage
