Robert Half is partnering with a dynamic multi-entity organization this is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting operations and ensure compliance across multiple business units. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, manage a talented team, and contribute to strategic financial initiatives. The ideal candidate will have an Active CPA or will be currently pursuing a CPA license. This is an in the office position in Roseville, CA. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for multiple entities, including general ledger, month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls across all entities.
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements and management reports.
- Lead and mentor accounting staff, fostering professional growth and high performance.
- Coordinate and manage external audits and tax filings; serve as primary liaison with auditors and tax advisors.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with leadership on financial strategies, risk management, and operational initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance requiredActive CPA license or currently pursuing CPA designation (required).5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.Audit or tax experience (public accounting background strongly preferred).Multi-entity or multi-location experience is a plus.Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in accounting software (ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills.
