Mortgage Mail Clerk - Temp

Location Fort Worth, TX | Onsite

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

  • $15.00–$17.00 per hour
  • Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM–5 : 00 PM
  • W2 – Seasonal / Temp
  • Start date : ASAP

ROLE IMPACT

This role ensures timely, accurate processing and distribution of all inbound and outbound mail critical to mortgage servicing operations. The Mail Clerk plays a vital role in maintaining operational flow and compliance by supporting internal departments with efficient mail handling.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive, sort, and process incoming mail and packages (USPS, FedEx, UPS)
  • Match incoming mail with corresponding loan numbers using internal servicing systems
  • Scan, upload, and distribute documents electronically to appropriate departments
  • Identify document types and direct to relevant teams within Mortgage Servicing
  • Support special mail-handling projects as needed and report any issues promptly

    • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Mailroom experience required
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work at a fast pace
  • Proficient in data entry, 10-key, and general computer skills
  • Effective communication and customer service orientation

    • CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS

  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Internal document imaging and routing systems
  • Loan servicing platforms (preferred)

    • PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Knowledge of mortgage servicing documents
  • Filing and document research experience
  • Previous experience in financial services or regulated mail environments
