LakeRidge Methodist Church is seeking to fill the position of Director of Evangelism and Young Adults. This a full-time position. LakeRidge is a church striving to connect generations with Jesus to impact our world. As one church building with two unique services, we are a dynamic, relevant, and growing congregation of 2, in Lubbock, Texas, a college city with a population of over ,. Located in the southern panhandle of Texas, Lubbock is an incredibly kind community with a small town feel but has all of the amenities of the big city.

LakeRidge Praise is our contemporary service. Housed in the same building but in a much less formal space, Praise currently seats a maximum of and offers one service on Sunday ( : AM). The sermon is presented via video. Largely made of families with children, Praise has an informal atmosphere.

Our sanctuary service, which seats 0 capacity, offers two Sunday services (9 : and : AM) and blends traditional and contemporary elements. In addition to liturgy and live preaching, the music team enhances the service by incorporating a choir, handbells, orchestra, and a praise team. Additionally, we have a thriving music scholarship program serving several area university students in the sanctuary service.

While the services vary, the community of believers at LakeRidge place high priority on connecting generations with Jesus to impact our world, therefore all children's programs, nursery, Sunday School classes, and community coffee area provide members and guests a chance to intermingle with others in the various services on Sundays and throughout the week.

This position would work with pastoral team to develop and cultivate a culture of discipleship through multiplication (disciples making disciples) and oversee young adult ministry in shepherding capacity.
