M&A Tax Director - Channel Islands

Meraki Talent is excited to be working with a global advisory firm on the appointment of an M&A Tax Manager to join their team in the Channel Islands.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a pivotal role within a respected international firm, working on some of the most high-profile M&A transactions in the market. You will be a key part of a growing tax practice, supporting complex cross-border deals and gaining exposure to high-calibre clients across Ireland and the wider European region.

The Opportunity

As an M&A Tax Manager, you'll take on significant responsibility for delivering tax aspects of both domestic and international transactions. You will build strong client relationships, provide technical and commercial input on deal structuring, and play an active role in business development. Working alongside Directors, Partners, and colleagues in corporate finance, private equity, and legal teams, you will help deliver joined-up, commercially driven solutions to a diverse client portfolio.

This role offers the chance to work on headline deals, develop your technical expertise, and build a clear pathway toward senior leadership positions.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver tax structuring and advisory work on complex M&A transactions across Europe.
• Advise corporates, private equity funds, and investors on structuring, due diligence, and post-deal integration.
• Manage day-to-day client relationships and establish yourself as a trusted advisor.
• Contribute to business development by spotting opportunities with new and existing clients.
• Supervise and coach junior colleagues, ensuring top-quality delivery and professional growth.
• Collaborate across corporate finance, legal, and international tax teams to provide fully integrated client solutions.
