New York Licensed Staff Attorney

A company is looking for a U.S. Litigation Staff Attorney.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, supervise, lead, and engage in all aspects of litigation and litigation-related advocacy

Collaborate with staff in other program departments to leverage litigation efforts

Represent the organization in external relationships with advocates, pro bono firms, media, and donors

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

Law degree and license to practice law in the relevant U.S. state

Three to ten years of relevant legal experience post-law school

Prior experience working with marginalized and / or displaced communities is preferred

Familiarity with the Immigration and Nationality Act and immigration law is a strong plus

Willingness to apply for the New York bar if relocating to New York
