Mechanical Design Engineer

Job description

As the Mechanical Design Engineer, you will design consumer products, develop, and test all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery. You will apply knowledge of engineering principles to design products such as engines, instruments, controls, robots, machines, and other mechanical devices. This role involves the creation of technical drawings, ensuring the functionality and safety of products, conducting tests and assessments, and collaborating with other engineering disciplines to achieve project goals. Strong problem-solving skills, proficiency in CAD software, and a thorough understanding of materials and manufacturing processes are essential to be successful in this role.

Responsibilities & Duties

Product Design and Development :

• Create detailed mechanical designs for consumer products with collaboration with industrial design, components, and systems using SolidWorks software. Develop and test prototypes to evaluate design feasibility and performance.
