About The Position

Pay Rate : $60.00 - $65.00 / Hourly.

Summary : The Cath Lab Technologist assists cardiologists and electrophysiologists in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. This includes preparing patients, operating specialized imaging and monitoring equipment, scrubbing in for sterile procedures, and ensuring the safety and accuracy of all tests and treatments performed in the Cath Lab. The role requires strong clinical skills, technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities :

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, stent placements, pacemaker / ICD insertions, electrophysiology studies, and other interventional cardiovascular procedures.
• Scrub, circulate, or monitor during procedures following sterile technique and safety protocols.
• Operate fluoroscopy, hemodynamic monitoring, and other specialized Cath Lab equipment.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications as directed.
