POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Integral part of the company's operations leadership team with responsibility in all aspects of environmental, health, and safety at all Coim USA sites.
• Establish, track, and report on EHS metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Develop, implement, and optimize a world-class, comprehensive EHS management system.
• Build relationships with employees, supervisors, managers, and executive leadership while developing a pro-active EHS culture.
• Responsible to plan and implement environmental programs and prepares / submits environmental reports in compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations, ensuring all environmental and safety reporting is completed and submitted on time to respective regulatory agencies.
• Responsible for all aspects of environmental compliance, including hazardous waste, storm water, air and wastewater, industrial hygiene, Process Safety Management, and occupational health program, emergency response, LOTO.
• Design and deliver EHS training programs for employees at all levels to foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard evaluations, and gap analysis to identify EHS risks and non-compliance issues.
• Manage and direct all aspects of safety program including training activities, safety committee management, process safety initiatives, and incident investigations.
• Responsible for safety related systems in the facilities including fire protection, personal protective equipment (PPE), uniforms, first aid supplies, etc.
• Oversees the administration of workers' compensation program for all Coim USA sites.
• Identifies and suggests corrective measures to improve the site's accident experience and to implement means to achieve site EHS goals. Leads the investigation of incidents and works to determine and implement effective corrective actions to prevent reoccurrences.
• Interacts with EHS regulatory agencies during site inspections.
• Maintains EHS files and records.
