As a High-Speed Photonic Integrated Circuit (PIC) Researcher, you will play a pivotal role in inventing, developing, and validating cutting-edge integrated photonic technologies with frequencies exceeding 100 GHz. If successful, your efforts will enable new and breakthrough Keysight products and be used by many customers to accelerate their own innovations. This role requires a strong foundation in both the theoretical principles and practical applications of PICs and mm-Wave technologies. Responsibilities :

As a High-Speed PIC Researcher in Keysight Laboratories, you will apply your photonic and RF expertise as part of our team to propose, develop, and implement innovative yet practical solutions to technically challenging problems. Your initial work will include theoretical analysis, device simulations, and PIC layout with an eye for packaging and commercialization. A deep understanding of integrated photonics, electro-optic materials and microwave transmission lines will be needed. PIC researchers are asked to :

• Identify new technologies early and how they can best be harnessed for Keysight
• Invent new measurement concepts or implementations to significantly impact Keysight s businesses
• Implement these innovative concepts in actual hardware and software to prove feasibility
• Work with Keysight s businesses to transfer the technology into commercial products.

This role is based in Santa Clara, CA. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate to the area.
