Nonprofit Accountant Opportunity

A mission-driven, faith-based nonprofit in Seattle, WA is hiring an on-site Accountant to own day-to-day accounting and payroll operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys heads-down accounting work, values collaboration, and brings a warm, professional presence to a close-knit team.

The Role:

• Full-cycle accounting: GL, AP/AR, reconciliations, month-end
• Fund accounting & donor-restricted funds
• Semi-monthly payroll for ~50 employees (Paychex)
• Financial reporting, budgeting support, and audit coordination
• Pay: Up to $40/hr. depending on experience
• Contract-to-hire opportunity

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of nonprofit accounting & payroll experience
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working independently
• Personable, patient, and community-oriented
