Data Center Technician

Our client is seeking multiple entry-level cable technicians who are willing to relocate to Altoona, Iowa for a 6-month assignment. These technicians will belearning cabling on a grand scale. They have an exclusive contract to build the cable infrastructure for them throughout the Meta data center. Their role will be to assist the higher-level techs and the team leads in building out the infrastructure to include : pulling cable, pulling fiber, learning color codes, learning how to punch down and terminate fiber, installing cable trays and pathways, and build server racks. This is a great opportunity for a entry level technician to get experience in telecommunications trade with little to no bgc. This could be a career changing role for someone to work at a Meta data center. There is room to move and promoted within the company.

• Compensation : ($20-$27 Hourly Rate) + (OT) + (tax free Per diem is daily $25-50), {PM will consider higher hourly rate based on lead experience},
• Drug Test Required; bgc Check Required; Clean Drivers license
