Job Summary

This is a full-time tenure track faculty position on the Wenatchee campus.

Essential Functions

Teaching and Supervision

• Nursing Theory : Teaching nursing theory courses likely covering various aspects of nursing practice and patient care.
• Skills Practice Lab : Supervising students in the skills practice lab ensuring they develop the necessary clinical skills.
• Clinical Experiences : Supervising students in clinical experiences in various healthcare settings including hospitals long-term care facilities and community agencies.

Terms of Employment :

This is a full-time tenure track faculty position. The salary for the position is determined by placement on the Wenatchee Valley College full-time faculty schedule ($74259 to $82480) for a 9-month 175-day contract. Class assignments may include day evening and distance courses. This position is scheduled to start when a qualified candidate is identified. Additional nurse educator stipends are currently available .

Bargaining Unit :

This position has been designated as a bargaining unit position represented by the Association for Higher Education. Faculty workload compensation and job expectations are defined by a contract negotiated between the faculty union and the WVC Board of Trustees.
