Join our team in the warehouse as you focus on the order building and packing areas. Your role will involve building shipping frames, picking and packing orders, and preparing items for shipment in a clean and family-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Pull order sheet to prepare for building orders.
• Construct shipping frames using power tools.
• Fill orders by grabbing items manually, sometimes using a grinder or chop saw.
• Wrap orders for shipment, ensuring stability within the shipping frame.
• Move completed orders to the shipping area.
• Assist in the picking and packing operation for small replacement parts or kits.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical aptitude.
• Experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to follow work instructions and use order sheets.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Teams.
• Capability to stand for 8 hours a day.
• Experience with power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Warehouse and manufacturing experience.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Picking and kit building experience.
• No formal education requirement.

Work Environment

The work shift is from 8:30 AM to 4:45 PM, totaling 37.5 hours per week with a 45-minute unpaid lunch and two paid 10-minute breaks. Employees should be flexible with working additional hours as needed. The warehouse environment is standard yet laid-back, with a temperature-controlled setting and music playing over the speakers. Safety is prioritized, requiring safety shoes and gloves when using tools.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
