Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available
Opportunity:
\nNuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
\n• Perform 5-10 scans/studies per day including cardiac, SPECT, bone scans, bleed studies, and gastric emptying procedures
\n• Operate GE equipment in single scanner/room department
\n• May float to downtown location approximately 6.5 miles away
\n• Use Radnet and Merge Unity EMR/PACS systems
\n• Chart in Cerner system
\n• Work under supervision of Lead Tech with radiologist in-house
\n• Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine experience required
\n• Required certifications: BLS and CA NMTL
\n• On-call responsibilities after 4:30 PM on weekdays (rotating schedule)
\n• Rotating weekend call requirements
\n• Rotating holiday on-call coverage
\n• Teal scrubs required
\n• IV insertion not required
\n• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
