Job Duties:
The Client is currently in need of highly skilled Registered Nurses (RN) with a minimum of one (1) year experience of Behavioral Health Emergency Room RN in a Level 1 Trauma Institution in a metropolitan city with a diverse population.
RNs will provide comprehensive care of patients with complex mental health challenges in an emergency room settings.
RNs will assess, triage, and stabilize patients experiencing acute psychiatric crisis, often alongside complex medical or traumatic conditions.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to mental health and physical assessments, administering psychiatric and emergency medications, implementing de-escalation and safety interventions, and maintaining a secure
care environment.

Required certifications include active RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, NIHSS Certification, MAB or CPI, LA City Fire and Life Safety card (must be LA City), and completion of the LA County Employee Health Clearance prior to the assignment start date.
