Senior Truck Captain

Have you ever wanted to run your own small business? As a Senior Truck Captain, that's exactly what you'll be doing.

College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving is the fastest-growing junk-hauling and moving franchise in America. Your responsibilities include managing a crew of team members, selling moving supplies and other services, facilitating the College Hunks Moving experience, managing client communication and satisfaction, and living out our Core Values. You must be proficient in sales, marketing, communication, and leadership.

As part of our training program you will be tasked with learning how to operate a Junk Removal Crew. Below please review the list of requirements and responsibilities.

Requirements (MUST MEET-NO EXCEPTION)

  • Ability to lift 75-100 pounds for an extended period of time
  • Driver's License Required (NO CDL NEEDED)
  • Reliable transportation is required
  • Flexible schedule - 3-5 full day availability - Open 7 days per week
  • Ability to document job details on both paper and electronically
  • Must be able to pass background check (NO FELONY)
  • Enjoy sales and negotiation
  • Provide high level customer service (including client questions and concerns)
  • Must be drug and alcohol free

    • Responsibilities

  • SAFELY operate or assist in navigation of the trucks at all times.
  • Make sure all daily truck inspections are performed (update management on conditions).
  • Make sure truck has enough receipts, safety equipment and marketing material.
  • Complete initial walk thru with client to discern what their wants and needs are
  • Reiterate pricing and up-sell where you see opportunity (you have to LOOK!)
  • Lead your team by relevant example, showing them what the core values of the company are all about.
  • Help to train new hires about the day to day operations and core values.
  • Complete Daily Checklists and Truck Logs.
  • Must be comfortable billing client and completing basic math
  • Prevent careless and costly mistakes, including damage, injury, unhappy clients, lost equipment, etc.
  • Check in regularly throughout the day with direct supervisor for additional assignments and troubleshooting guidance.
  • 50% of your day will be sales & marketing
  • 30% of your day will be servicing clients
  • 20% of your day will be coaching and managing your truck business

    Job Type : Full-time / Part-time

    Salary : $15-$25 Per Hour (including Tips and Bonuses / Commissions)
