A company is looking for a Patient Access Specialist (Differential Waiver) - Prior Authorization.

Key Responsibilities

Review and validate insurance eligibility and prior authorization requests for medical services

Communicate with third-party payers and healthcare professionals to obtain necessary documentation and confirm benefit coverage

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage referrals, appeals, and documentation related to medical necessity

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; post-secondary education is helpful

Minimum of two years of experience in a hospital or clinic setting required

Understanding of medical terminology and insurance processes is required

Proficiency with office equipment and computers is necessary
