Komatsu is offering a paid internship for an Electrician! In this role you'll be responsible for various support activities within the team. This role will initially be based at our heavy equipment shop in Mesa AZ, and provide travel opportunities into the field to do electrical work on large mining shovels at various remote mining locations in the United States.

This is a fantastic opportunity for students to gain real-world experience with a global leader in mining and construction equipment. You'll get mentorship from an experienced subject-matter expert in your field, and get to do real-world project work. The start date for this role is Summer 2026, with a potential extension. Full-time hours are available in summer.

Job Duties :

• Entry-level work including electrical cabinet rebuilds and shovel rewiring (wiring only, not live electricity)
• Shop-based rewiring of electrical components and cabinets
• Field work rewiring shovels during overhauls
• Assistance with troubleshooting, new machine builds, and relocation of machines
• Work under supervision, with a focus on safety and process improvement
• Flexible schedule and travel required based on job location
